D.1. General Information about Program

The purpose of our programme is to educate expert personnel who can make regulations in various institutions such as Ministry of National Education, schools, education departments of public and private companies and who can develop and administer measurement instruments, and interpret the scores that are obtained from those instruments.

D.5. Qualification Requirements and Regulations

To complete the total of 240 ECTS - 90 ECTS course credits, 30 ECTS preparation to doctoral proficiency credits, and 120 dissertation credits - to be successful on all the courses that are taken in four semesters and be successful on the doctoral proficiency examination specified at Hacettepe University Graduate Studies Regulations, to complete and present dissertation in a given time.

D.7. Goals and Objectives

The purpose of the program is to educate expert personnel, who can generate original knowledge by approaching the knowledge systematically in the field of educational measurement and evaluation, can offer solutions to the problems of the field, can teach effectively, can provide consultancy to the related institutions and companies.

D.12. Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Our graduates will gain researcher and academician role in measurement and evaluation field. They can continue their studies at univesities with their academician roles, work in the positions related to their field at official institutes as Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center, National Ministry of Education or private institutes.

The programme consists of 11 courses: 7 required and 4 elective courses. 66% of the courses are required, 34% of the courses are elective. At least 240 ECTS must be completed (minimum 8 courses with 24 local credits, 1 seminar, and 1 dissertation).
