Production/Operations Management and Quantitative Methods Master Program is a graduate program with thesis which is carried out under the Hacettepe University Social Sciences Institute – Business Administration Department. Program language is Turkish. The courses, midterms, finals, presentations, reports and theses are carried out in Turkish. However, sources in English are also utilized during the lectures. Graduates of this program can proceed to the PhD programs.

1. Applicants who apply to the program must have completed a four-year Bachelor's Degree.
2. Applicants are required to score at least 60 standard points from equal weight categories of the Academic Staff and Graduate Education Examination (Akademik Personel ve Lisansüstü Eğitimine Giriş Sınavı, ALES) organized by Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi, ÖSYM). Alternatively, applicants are required to submit an equivalent score, determined by the Hacettepe University Senate, in the internationally recognized GRE and GMAT examinations.
3. Applicants are required to score at least 60 in the Foreign Knowledge in Foreign Language Placement Examination (Yabancı Dil Seviye Tespit Sınavı, YDS). Alternatively, applicants are required to submit an equivalent score from other foreign language examinations, held at the national or international level, whose equivalence is approved by ÖSYM.
4. International students' applications are accepted in line within “Hacettepe University Graduate Programme and Exam Regulation" in Official Gazette (29 November 2016, No:29900).
5. Those conditions, which are not included below, are applied in accordance with the related provisions of the Hacettepe University Graduate Education, Instruction and Examination Regulations (Hacettepe Üniversitesi Lisansüst Eğitim, Öğretim ve Sınav Yönetmeliği).
Students who are enrolled in the master program must complete at least 60 ECTS credits within two semester and then should prepare the master's thesis under the supervision of consultant.
The courses taken at another university either in Turkey or abroad can be accepted as equivalent through the approval of the teaching staff lecturing similar courses, within the framework of relevant articles in Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations.
Academic recognition of the courses taken in another higher education institution as part of an exchange program is made within the framework of relevant articles in Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations.
Production/Operations Management and Quantitative Methods Master Program is designed to give comprehensive training especially to Business Administration graduates who plans to specialize in production and quantitative methods. The aim of this program is not only to make individuals to gain competence in the field of production but also to increase their knowledge which will help them to be future managers in related businesses.
Graduates of the program gaining effective communication skills, a sense of social responsibility, flexiable and innovative characteristics.They take their places as potential managers in public or private companies' departments of finance, production, human resources or marketing.

Evaluation and assesment methods for each course are defined in course teaching plan in information package prepared by the lecturers. Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations will be applied in related with the course notes and exams.
