D.1. General Information about Program

Human Resource Management Master Program is a non-thesis, evening program which is carried out under the Hacettepe University Social Sciences Institute – Business Administration Department. Program language is Turkish.

D.4. Provisions for Registration

1. Those having a university diploma in any field can apply for the program.

2. There is no minimum grade-point average (GPA) requirement.

3. There is no requirement for an ALES or Foreign Language Exam certificate. However, if the applicant submits a certificate, the following weighting schema will be used in evaluation (for those not submitting a certificate for ALES or Foreign Language, the score is considered to be zero).

Evaluation Criteria:

ALES Score: 20% Foreign Language Score: 10% GPA: 30% Interview: 40%

4. International students' applications are accepted in line within “Hacettepe University Graduate Programme and Exam Regulation" in Official Gazette (29 November 2016, No:29900).

5. The provisions which are not covered above will be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of Hacettepe University's Regulations on Graduate Education and Examination.

D.5. Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Students who are enrolled in the human resource management non-thesis master program must complete 10 courses and then should prepare the term project under the supervision of the consultant. These courses consist of 42 ECTS must and 48 elective courses.

D.6. Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

The courses taken at another university either in Turkey or abroad can be accepted as equivalent through the approval of the teaching staff lecturing similar courses, within the framework of relevant articles in Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations.

Academic recognition of the courses taken in another higher education institution as part of an exchange program is made within the framework of relevant articles in Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations.

D.7. Goals and Objectives

The aim of the Evening Class Human Resource Master Program without Thesis is to give necessary information to individuals who is working or wants to work at human resource departments of public or private institutions and organizations and help these people to develop and manage human resource policies.

D.12. Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Graduates of the Evening Class Human Resource Master Program without Thesis work as expert or managerial positions at Human Resource Departments of public or private institutions and organizations.

D.15. Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Evaluation and assesment methods for each course are defined in course teaching plan in information package prepared by the lecturers. Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations will be applied in related with the course notes and exams.

D.16. Graduation Requirements

The program consists of 90 ECTS credits for three semesters. In order to graduate from the program, students must take 36 credits and be successful in the term project course (38 CREDITS). In other words, it is necessary to complete at least 90 ECTS.
