D.1. General Information about Program

The main goal of Master's Degree in Health Care Management Distance Education is to educate and train health care facilities management science specialist by providing contemporary management trainning, has reached a sufficient level in the management of health care institutions, in the field of self-development open to dialogue with people who can work together, if necessary independent, able to meet the requirements necessary collaboration responsible, informed, enlightened, commitment to ethical principle. The language of instruction is Turkish.

D.4. Provisions for Registration

1. Those having a university diploma in any field can apply for the program.

2. There is no minimum grade-point average (GPA) requirement.

3. There is no requirement for an ALES or Foreign Language Exam certificate. However, if the applicant submits a certificate, the following weighting schema will be used in evaluation (for those not submitting a certificate for ALES or Foreign Language, the score is considered to be zero).

Evaluation Criteria:

ALES Score: 20%

Foreign Language Score: 10%

GPA: 30%

Interview: 40%

4. International students' applications are accepted in line within “Hacettepe University Graduate Programme and Exam Regulation" in Official Gazette (26 November 2016, No:29900).

5. The provisions which are not covered, will be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of Hacettepe University's Regulations on Graduate Education and Examination.

D.5. Qualification Requirements and Regulations

The term project course is taken in the last semester. To graduate from the program, at least 10 courses have been taken with the semester project and must be successful.

D.6. Specific Arrangements for Recognition of Prior Learning

Graduate programs may be accepted related university or another institute department in higher technological institute or another institution of higher education graduate program successfully completed at least one semester of student by transfer. Admission requirements to transfer determined with regulations adopted by Senate.

D.7. Goals and Objectives

To educate Health Institution Management experts who are open to new developments in this area, able to communicate with other health care workers, able to work independently, able to work others in a coordinated manner, have job responsibility, open minded, intellectual, and reliant on ethical issues by providing universal and updated health institutions management education.

D.12. Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Contemporary and universal health care management providing management training, has reached a sufficient level in the management of health care institutions, in the field of self-development open to dialogue with people who can work together, if necessary independent, able to meet the requirements necessary collaboration, responsible, knowledgeable, intellectual, ethical commitment to principle management of health care institutions to train scientist.

D.14. Profile of the Programme

Program have 5 required 11 elective courses.

D.15. Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

On evaluation and assessment methods implemented for each course prepared by faculty member and in "Course Teaching Plan" that included the Information package is defined.
