The aim of Non-Thesis Secondary (Evening) Early Childhood Education Master Program is to move students' early childhood education knowledge, skills and understanding to upper levels, and also to help their career development by improving their access to knowledge and interpretation skills of knowledge. In this view, the aim of the proposed program is to inform students about new trends and research in early childhood education to improve their content and skills to become an expert in their field.

To be admitted to the Early Childhood Education program candidates must:
Preference will be given to the candidates who are currently employed (or have past working experience) at an early childhood program or relevant institutions as a teacher or administrator.
In order to be graduated and to receive non-thesis masters' license from the program, students should take minimum of two required courses during the first and second semesters. During the third semester, students are expected to successfully complete their semester projects. The semester project is a non-credit work and students will be evaluated as being successful or not. Also, students should register for the semester project and at the end they should prepare a written report about their projects. To be able to graduate from the program, a student should be successful of semester project and should have minimum of 2.50 academic average points.
According to YOK regulations, minimum of 90 ECTS (AKTS), including semester project should be completed by the student.
In Turkish higher education institutions, rules and regulations for the recognition of prior formal education is governed by the Council of Higher Education's related by-laws. Limited transfer of credits may be made and a student can transfer to another program if the required conditions are met within the defined rules and regulations. Recognition of non-formal and informal education is at a very early stage and most likely will not be recognized by the Council of Higher Education.

Early Childhood Education Program is a program following the national curriculum which was established according to Turkish Council of Higher Education's Turkish Higher Education Competencies Framework. Moreover, based on their academic and professional interests, students can choose between numerous electives from both the Elementary Education Department and other departments within the university.
An assessment and evaluation method for each course is prepared by the responsible faculty member.
