D.1. General Information about Program

Foundation purpose of Pharmaceutical Technology Master of Science Programme is, to educate pharmacists who are experts on medicines, primarily on lectures of pharmaceutical technology and other disciplines in master of science degree, therefore the graduates would serve in industry, public associations and universities

            To be a graduate of Faculty of Pharmacy 

Scientific preparation program will be applied to the students who come from different disciplines, any lack of knowledge of these students would be resolved with licence degree lectures in the faculty of pharmacy.

• The candidate should have at least a score of 60 in ALES
• The document should not be older than 3 years.

In this program, the candidates who successfully complete credits of 120 ECTS and have a general academic average of 2.75 must determine a thesis subject with his/her thesis supervisor. D.7. Goals and Objectives

In the light of the recent developments in formulations of drug delivery systems and pharmacy, programme aims to train and educate qualified personnel who have sufficient knowledge and skills to work in public associations of health, drug industry.

Also aims to train expert personnel who are able to handle the regulations and applications in related sectors of Turkey. Eventually it is aimed that the drug industry and associations about medicinal products and pharmacy would meet the European Union (EMA) and world standards (FDA) in every aspect (R&D, manufacturing, quality control, quality assurance, registration etc.)

D.14. Profile of the Programme

Programme consists of, a mandatory seminary lecture of 15 ECTS, mandatory lectures of 14 ECTS, selective lectures of 31 ECTS, and a master of science thesis of 60 ECTS. Selective lectures can be taken from the programs of Institute of Health Sciences and Institute of Science.All obligatory and elective course are listed in Course Structure Diagram. Students can take these courses in different semester with the condition of ensure of total credit requirements.

The student must have grades at least 2.75 and must be successful in his/her thesis defense. A student who have completed the mandatory lectures of his/her program successfully and has a general academic average of at least 2.75 can offer a thesis / art work study proposal.
