The aim of the ?Advanced Neonatology Master Degree Program With Thesis? of Department of Neonatology is to raise students with international standards who are well educated for the epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, physiology, pathology, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of the severe diseases of the newborns, and to provide students with knowledge about research, development and applications, and to have them gain the ability of planning and conducting scientific research in related subjects.

In our country and in many parts of the world, classical neonatology training is carried out within the framework of the subspecialty training. We believe that the ?Advanced Neonatology Master Degree Program With Thesis? of Department of Neonatology which will be initiated to eliminate the deficiencies in education will be the first in our country and will be an example for other centers.

We are of opinion that the studies we have conducted in four main areas are important in the launch of such a program in our department.
