D.1. General Information about Program

Neurology Physiotherapy Master program with thesis was formed in order to respond to the educational needs of physiotherapists working in the area of neurology, to train graduates who was equipped with the domain-specific informations, skills and competencies, to create an environment for academic work and to contribute to the development of the area.

Graduates who have completed this program can use their deepened and developed competencies at the level of expertise in clinical and academic studies at the various specialized areas of neurology physiotherapy and rehabilitation and carry out advanced professional practice and research. Master's degree graduates of Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, graduates acquire the degree of master of science.

To have an undergraduate degree diploma in area of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

Provide the Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences' application requirements for the master of science education program

D.5. Qualification Requirements and Regulations

To complete the program which is at least 2 years and contains 180 ECTS credits successfully or to receive equivalent education abroad for graduating from Neurology Physiotherapy masters program with thesis. Students are required to be completed at least 60 ECTS credits from compulsory and elective courses; with 60 ECTS credit from thesis study and the course successfully according to Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations, and to be provided  at least 2.50 general provision of academic average and to be concluded successfully the thesis study and ıts defense. http://www.saglikbilimleri.hacettepe.edu.tr/tr/menu/kanun_ve_yonetmelikler-219???????

Undergraduate education in physiotherapy and rehabilitation or international equivalent educations are authoritative.

D.7. Goals and Objectives

To educate specialist physiotherapists at national and international level who follow the scientific and technological developments in the field of neurology physiotherapy, who have gained advanced and deep knowledge, skill and attitude in their education, research and practice, who can integrate their knowledge with clinical and scientific studies, who can interpret the results, who can continue life-long learning, who can contribute to educational programs related to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

D.12. Occupational Profiles of Graduates with Examples

Alumnies who completes this programme could implement an investigation special to Neurology Physiotherapy area independently, comment with a broader and deeper perspective of scientific events and determine the necessary steps to achieve for accessing new methods and applications. Neurology Physiotherapy master of science graduates are people who can develop programs that create and implement competent and effective programs by determining the need for the subject related to protective purposes in healthy individuals and can develop public health.

Physiotherapists who have graduated from this program can work in various clinic and departments of hospitals owned public and private sector, private educational institutions,nursing homes, physiotheraphy and exercise centers. They also can serve as instructors and administrators in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation departments of universities in our country and abroad.
