D.1. General Information about Program

Back

Our department attaches specific importance to the graduate programmes since the day it has been founded. Many of our M.S. and/or Ph.D. alumni scientists have contributed to science through their research conducted in our university or in other universities. Our Ph.D. programme has been designed to be complementary to the M.S. programme. Starting from the master's degree, through elective courses in various expertise fields and efficient use of our department's laboratories, it is aimed to develop the skills related to technological & scientific research to their full potential. The programme language is Turkish; however, in order to be accepted, the candidate students should qualify in one of the English proficiency tests recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). As the reading materials such as books, articles, etc. necessary for this level are mainly available in English, therefore a high level comprehension is required.
