Course objectiveThe purpose of this course is to make a sociological analysis of sport and to understand the sport sociology theories and their applications. 
Learning outcomes
  1. To understand the social and cultural dimensions of sport
  2. To know and use sport sociology theories.
  3. To know research methodologies in sport sociology.
  4. To make gender analysis of sport.
  5. To make social class analysis of sport.
  6. To understand the relationship between sport and socialization.
  7. To learn the experiences of different identities in sports.
