  2. ? develop basic skills and strategies for consecutive interpreting, such as listening skills (attentive, analytical) memory skills (immediate and delayed recall), parsing and chunking, mapping, framing and backgrounding of the unfolding information during the delivery of the speaker, context formation, anticipation, public speaking, voice-coaching, memorizing, note-taking,
  3. ? gain consecutive interpreting skills to be able to interpret speeches at various lengths in various fields from active and passive languages into the mother tongue and retour, the level and density of which will be manipulated according to the needs of the class regarding the cognitive entry behaviors.
