Course objectiveStudents gain the ability of commenting and analyzing the results of subjective and objective voice assesment methods, integrating the assesments? results to the personally-based voice therapy programme. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Gains advance level of information about the biomechanics of vocal folds, characteristics of the mucosal wave and controlling physiology of phonation Comments on the results of Videolaryngostroboscopy examination, learns the vocal fold characteristics used in the differential diagnosis Learns the basic technics used in the microlaryngeal surgery and learns the voice therapy characteristics used in the during the early postoperation period of gaining healthy phonation
  2. Learns to interpret the results of perceptual and intrumental evaluation methods in a way that helps to differential diagnosis of difficult pathologies Learns the characteristics and importance of trial voice therapy Learns the mechanisms of physiologic voice therapy methods detailly and learns the Holistic voice therapy Learns and implements the motor learning principles in voice therapy
  3. Gains information about the spesific voice therapy methods used in spesific population such as spasmodic dysphonia, Parkinson etc.
Course ContentInterpreting the results of the subjective and objective voice assesment methods, analyzing and integrating this information to the personally-based voice therapy.
