Course objectiveThe aim of this course is to the relationship between linguistics and semiology using related theories. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of the semester the students will be able to;
  2. explain the relationship between linguistics and semiology using related theories,
  3. interpret the related studies,
  4. contrast spoken and spoken non-language sign systems,
  5. discuss the semiological functions of sign.
Course ContentSpoken communication and linguistics, semiological understanding of language, universal understanding of language, sign language, written and spoken signs, language signs, arbitrariness, body language, nonverbal sings, etc.
