Course objectiveTo enable the students to acquire the habit of making a research on a subject regarding their field ( Music)to the students of the department of Composition, turning the results of the research into a report and make a presentation and share the results in the department. 
Learning outcomes
  1. 1. They become conscious of the Scientific activities such as Seminar, Symposium, panel conference, open session, discussion, presentation and debate.
  2. 2. They can distinguish the Scientific activities such as Seminar, Symposium, panel conference, open session, discussion, presentation and debate from each other.
  3. 3. They comprehend the effective presentation principles.
  4. 4. They can make a research on a subject regarding their field (music) and turn the results of the research into a report.
  5. 5. They have the competence to use the affective presentation techniques and share in the department.
Course ContentSeminar, Symposium, panel, conference, open session, discussion, presentation, debate concepts and examples, some symposium notices regarding music, discussions on music articles, examples, determination of a subject regarding the field, effective presentation principles, principles of citation in the scientific papers. Presentation of the presented reports.
