Course objectiveStudents gain information on the historical stages organization and bureaucracy have gone through and on today?s structure and organization types. On the basis of various theories and approaches, students discuss the organization and the bureaucratic structure and development. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Students become aware of the various theories and approaches within these matters. Students compare and discuss the differences among different periods and societies.
Course ContentClassical approaches in bureaucracy
?Weber?s ideal bureaucratic model and bureaucratic theories after Weber.
?Organization theories, modern approaches, and new theoreticians are examined.
?Marx, Weber, Taylor, Fayol, Burnham, Etzioni, Gouldner, Laurence J. Peter, Parkinson, Galbraith and Drucker vb. düşünürlerin fikirleri üzerinde durulmakta, günümüz dünyası ve ülkemizdeki bürokratik yapı ve organizasyonlar bu çerçevede değerlendirilmektedir.
