Course objectiveIn this course new debates on sociological theories and the similarities and differences between them are examined in an analytical way. 
Learning outcomes
  1. At the end of the course student -Gains a sociological perspective and are able to -Understands and analyses the dynamics of each of these debates -Compares the positioning of the arguments in accordance with each other -Knows and gains a critical perspective on the new debates on sociology
Course ContentThis course is the sequel of contemporary sociological theories course. Thus, theories and arguments of modernization are evaluated first. In addition to this, constructionist, post-structuralist, critical theories as well as theories about new social movements, all of which became new schools in sociology are included in this course.
