Course objectiveThe aim of this course to teach behavioral finance perspectives which were established as an alternative to efficient markets hypothesis. 
Learning outcomes
  1. Understand the effects of the behavioral factors on decision making process.
  2. Define different personal characteristics, behaviors and attitudes.
  3. Understand the effects of personal characteristics on investment decisions.
  4. Understand and apply behavioral finance theories.
  5. Understand the importance of risk perception and tolerance for ambiguity in decision making processes.
  6. Learn about the history of behavioral finance and its evolution.
Course ContentSocio-cultural variables and personality factors in decision making, concepts of learning, perception and attitudes, the effects of risk perception, tolerance for ambiguity and emotional intelligance on investment decisions.
