Course objectiveStudents will be introduced to the language family in which the Turkic languagesfall. Following brief explanations about the structure of Turkish, Turkic languages, dialects, important accents within the Turkic language family, the characteristics of these languages and dialects, the regions in which they are seen, will be explained, and attempts at classifying the Turkic languages and dialects will be emphasized

  1. The end of the course, student, Will have create general information about Turkic languages, history, geography and culture from Altaic period to 20. century.
